About the Program

The Python Coding & AI Exposure Program under Winter School 2025 is a 2-week immersive, hands-on training program designed to help school students master the fundamentals of programming while exploring how Python powers the world of AI, automation, and data science.

Students will begin with core Python programming concepts and gradually progress to intermediate-level problem solving, data handling, and AI-assisted coding.
The program includes live mentor-led sessions, guided exercises, and creative mini-projects to ensure every learner builds both confidence and competence.

By the end of the training, participants will have created real Python projects (including an AI-assisted one), explored modern AI tools, and earned a certificate from IIT Jammu, with logos of I3C-IIT Jammu & Techible — a recognition of their early step into the future of technology.

Objectives

  • Installing Python & understanding the coding environment

  • Variables, data types, typecasting & operators

  • Control flow: conditional statements & nested loops

  • Functions, parameters, return values & modular coding

  • Working with files: reading/writing text & simple data processing

  • Introduction to error handling & debugging techniques

  • Mini Project: Build an interactive CLI app
    (e.g., expense tracker, password generator, or quiz system)

  • Python data structures in-depth: lists, dictionaries, tuples, sets

  • Simple data analysis using Pandas (intro-level)

  • Working with libraries: random, json, datetime, etc.

  • Introduction to automation: writing scripts to automate simple tasks

    - Using accessible AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for coding help

Yes, you can apply for both programs by paying & filling the form two times by selecting the desired programs.

But, we advise you to choose only one. 

The programs are designed for school students interested in skill development in areas such as coding, AI, UI/UX, and No-Code Toold. Individual students can apply directly. Schools or school incharges interested in enrolling multiple students can reach out for collaborations.

The programs are conducted online over a span of 15 days, starting from the December 12, 2025.

Yes, there is an optional 1-day campus immersion program for interested students for which charges are extra. This provides an opportunity to visit the IIT Jammu campus for additional exposure. Please note that this is a day visit only; accommodation is not provided.

Yes, upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a completion certificate from IIT Jammu along with I3C, and Techible logos.

There are no specific prerequisites. If there are any, they are mentioned in the individual programs. The programs are designed to cater to students with a keen interest in the respective fields, regardless of prior experience.

Yes, all necessary study materials and resources will be provided to enrolled students.

All necessary software tools will be provided during the sessions, and assistance for installation will be given. However, a laptop/PC with internet facility is required.

No, the program is open to all students who register. There is no selection or interview process. After the payment you will be registered in the program (If seats are left).

  • Students may apply for a refund debore the start of the program.
  • After the starting of the program, no refund requests will be entertained.
  • A 5% processing charges deduction will be applied to all refunds.

No, there are no scholarships or financial assistance options. The program fee is structured to ensure accessibility.
